For the novice, Double Zero Roulette can look very complicated but in reality it is a very simple game that is easily learned. It consists of a Wheel that is divided by 38 sections and each section is alternately colored red and black with the exception of two sections that are green. 36 of the sections are numbered 1 through 36, there is a single zero in one of the green sections and a double zero in the last section. There is also a betting table where the players place their chips to bet on the numbers they select. The table is divided into sections for different types of bets. The inner section that has the numbers on it are for Inside Bets and is for betting on certain number. There are sections for the Outside Bets that are set to the side, and these bets are for betting on groups of numbers. The Double Zero Wheel is limited to the American Roulette version of this game. The odds are slightly more in the favor of the "House" than in a Single Zero Roulette Game such as European Roulette or French Roulette. Each of these other versions are played basically the same way as American Roulette with the differences being, European has slightly better odds for the player and French Roulette has a different table layout and employs the The 'La Partage' Rule. This rules states that when the ball lands on the zero, the player will only lose half his bet on outside bets. This is only offered on Roulette tables with a single zero.
